Job Description

Performs skilled & semi-skilled maintenance, replacement, minor installation & repair of plumbing equipment, electrical equipment, and carpentry work. Performs minor painting of fixtures, rooms, buildings, signs & equipment. Operates machine tools & welding equipment in making repairs to metal parts & equipment; assists in repair & maintenance of interior & exterior maintenance equipment & other specialized equipment (e.g. laboratory and aquaculture life support equipment). Supervises work crews. Provides basic lawn care (e.g. mowing, weed eating). Performs other job related duties as required. Ability to establish effective working relationships with other staff, investors, visitors, and research administrators.

Minimum Requirements Education – High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience – Four years of related experience in Mechanical, construction, electrical systems, automotive, grounds or building maintenance. ​
