Proposed Minimum Salary
Teach overload undergraduate and graduate applied music lessons in one of the following areas: Flute, Bassoon, Clarinet, Saxophone/Jazz, Trumpet, Horn, Trombone, Tuba/Euphonium, Percussion, Cello, String Bass, Jazz Piano, Jazz Guitar, Jazz Bass, and Voice. In some cases, there may be opportunities to teach secondary methods and/or chamber music within the applied music area. Assistance with recruitment for the studio may be required in addition to teaching. Doctorate in music preferred; Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the field of music from a regionally accredited institution or university required. Strong teaching and performing ability in one of the applied music areas listed above. Ability to recruit students in the applied area. Adjunct, Part-time with opportunity for full time if the need exists;, Non-Tenure track. Salary commensurate with teaching load assigned.
