Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities and duties include the following: Care and maintenance of all technology such as computers and printers

  • Assist with achieving goals and objectives for programs assigned.

  • Oversees the working operation of the computers and reporting of any repairs needed.

  • Assist in set up (tables/chairs) and take down of special events, weekly scheduled activities & meetings

  • Performs troubleshooting functions for programs, their offices and student needs.

  • Have essential physical and mental capabilities in the following: Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, follows directions, comprehension, calculating, reading, writing, speaking, evaluating, mathematics, organizing and innovation.

  • Contribute feedback to supervisor on outcomes and assignments

  • Computer skills

  • Must be able to lift and bend

  • Move inventory equipment, supplies, computer labs, and assist with relocation of offices and space allocation with regard to supplies for programs on a regular basis.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Attend special project events and program specific needs.

  • Receive training in TRIO programs

  • Available to travel periodically

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Three years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
